Small Business Saturday Adds Up to Billions

Small businesses enjoyed a big moment on Saturday, as consumers headed out and spent $5.5 billion at small shops as part of this year’s Small Business Saturday.
The big number may be due largely to consumer awareness, as the National Federation of Independent Business reported a jump in the last few weeks leading up to Small Business Saturday.
